Any new solution had to free up time for Dr. Samson and his staff to serve patients.

Dr. Samson required a single point of contact to support and maintain the internal network.

The solution had to be HIPAA compliant.

Since the clinic had two existing internet connections in place, we decided to leverage those and then use our Seamless Failover service to set up a redundancy solution that would kick in automatically and without any disruption in the event of an outage on the primary connection. This also saved costly early termination fees for the clinic.

We implemented a HIPAA compliant network stack consisting of a managed firewall, switch, and WiFI access points. All of these devices are remotely monitored and managed by Tierzero. Because of the remote management capability, if any changes need to be made, Dr. Samson or his staff can simply make a request to our team and we can implement it quickly. Additionally, Tierzero takes care of all the licensing associated with the devices and updates the software regularly to ensure that everything is current and compliant with HIPAA protocols.

We suggested that they migrate away from an in-house phone system to our VoIP (Hosted PBX) platform. This managed solution allows the clinic to operate without having to worry about the phone box in the closet and makes adds, moves, and changes as simple as making a call to our Care Team. Most changes are implemented right then and there.

We set up our Traffic Manager with Enhanced Voice Protection which keeps calls crisp and clear and also adds encrypted security to their voice traffic.

The overall solution provides Dr. Samson and his colleagues with a single point of contact should any issues arise and also provides them with one simple bill which streamlines payables.
